Since 2013 SAROB become a member of the worldwide Association of Better Cotton Initiative, BCI, and Implementing Partner of BCI in Tajikistan and Central Asian countries.
In 2023 Better Cotton has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Agriculture to reinforce the pair’s partnership and further support the production of more sustainable cotton across the Central Asian Region. The MoU was signed by Better Cotton’s Director of Fundraising, Rebecca Owen, and Tajikistan’s Minister of Agriculture, His Excellency Qurbon Hakimzoda, at Tajikistan Investment and Development Forum, in London.
